Saudi Aramco Marine Department Visit to NMA

On July 5, 2021, as part of National Maritime Academy (NMA) efforts to explore potential future collaborations with sponsoring companies, Saudi Aramco Marine Department visited NMA with the objective of exploring future demand, revalidation and upgrade of their current officers' certification. NMA presented an overview of the Academy covering its training capabilities in developing training programs for ship building, marine and port operations. In addition, discussions were held on the potential enrollment of their employees in NMA degree program. The visit included a Saudi Aramco: Company General Use LWDD Weekly Highlights – 7/15/2021 3 tour to NMA facilities, simulator rooms and workshops. They also visited the Saudi Aramco trainees who recently joined the NMA officer program. The meeting was fruitful and several areas of future collaboration were identified.
