Upskilling 70 Saudi Seafarers from Rawabi and Tidewater

NMA started a new group of 70 Saudi seafarers split between Rawabi and Tidewater to boost the overall number of upskilling Saudi Seafarers program to 105 Saudi trainees. The first group from Rawabi Company to upskill 35 Saudi Seafarers has successfully completed the program. The program offered by NMA and approved by the TGA is a 4 months and up to 7 months course to improve the candidates’ maritime English language abilities as well as their nautical knowledge to qualify them as TGA certified able seafarers. With NMA given the responsibility to train the Saudi Seafarers who didn’t get sea guided training, is a significant milestone in our commitment to maritime excellence in the kingdom.
